The Inn at Saratoga is seeking an outgoing and professional sales Coordinator. The Sales Coordinator assists and supports the Director of Sales in the marketing of the hotel, as well as selling, booking and executing meetings and private events.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

· Responding to phone calls and e-mails for event inquiries

· Generating BEOs, contracts, menus, and group resumes

· Executing site tours of the property for potential clients

· Managing meetings, luncheons, and smaller events

· Acting as the second in command for weddings and larger events

· Working on marketing campaigns and generating new marketing ideas

The ideal candidate for this job possesses the following skills:

· Is highly organized

· Is professional in appearance and demeanor

· Has some hospitality experience in food and beverage or hotel front desk

· Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills

· Is detail oriented

· Has great customer service skills and genuinely wants the client to be happy

· Must be able to stand and walk for an 8 hour shift

· Must be able to bend, lift, and carry things like full trays, chairs, etc.

This position is perfect for someone who has worked in the hospitality industry, for example a server or a front desk associate, who has good working knowledge of how a hotel or event venue operates and is looking to branch out into sales and event management. Prior sales experience is great but not needed, we will train the right candidate.

Please note that this is not a Monday through Friday, 9-5 job, hours and days of work will vary depending on the event schedule. Most events take place on Friday and Saturday evenings, Sunday morning and afternoon, weekend and evening availability are required. This position is a combination of administrative desk work and working on the floor with the banquet team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
