Resident Aide
Job description
We are pleased to present an opportunity to you with the Educational Assistance Program to become a Certified Nurse Assistant.
Under this program, you will have the opportunity to enroll in a Certified Nurse Assistant education course so that you can achieve full certification status as a Nurse Aide while working for us as a Resident Aide.
To participate in this program, you must agree to two (2) conditions:
1. You must successfully complete the course with one of our approved schools.
2. You must remain employed as a CNA with us for at least one (1) calendar year following the completion of the course and the passing of your state exam.
Job Position
Assisting in activities of daily living
Required Qualifications:
The Resident Aide must possess:
- Must possess a strong service orientation, including active listening, critical thinking skills and close monitoring of clients
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Meal tray pass and set up.
- Medication reminders.
- Bathing set up and reminders.
- Makes bed and assist with keeping rooms clean.
- Assist with transporting residents to dining rooms and appointments.
- Assist with Life Enrichment Activities.
- Observing and reporting changes of physical and mental conditions of residents.
- Responsible for assuring a comfortable and safe environment.
- Responsible for other duties as designated by charge nurse or supervisor.
Full vaccination against COVID-19 or a medical/religious exemption is required.
Salary/ Wage Range
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.

Schedule:
- 8–12-hour shifts.
- Must work every other weekend as needed.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
