Restaurant Reservation Coordinator

Alexandria Restaurant Partners is seeking team members to work in our reservation center to answer phones and make reservations using Open Table reservation system for all restaurants. Recent experience with Open Table is a must. Alexandria Restaurant Partners (ARP) is a growing company with nine successful regional restaurant concepts in Old Town Alexandria, Arlington, Virginia, as well as Orlando, Florida.

Job Description:

• The Restaurant Reservation Coordinator’s primary focus is to answer all calls coming into the restaurants on the reservation lines.
• Assist guests in making, altering, or canceling restaurant reservations in our Open Table system.
• Explains restaurant concept to guest if required and is aware of all ARP’s locations and history.
• Learns and maintains knowledge of menus, restaurant promotions, hours of operation, basic knowledge of the neighborhood, parking availability, restaurant address/telephone info, contacts to relay messages, and more.
• Reservation office is open 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Full-time and part-time positions available. We are especially looking for those who can work evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

• Excellent restaurant Open Table reservation system knowledge required
• Expert communication skills, a strong voice and friendly attitude with innate optimism
• Have an upbeat attitude and work efficiently under a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• A true desire to fulfill the needs of our guests
• A minimum of 1 year of restaurant or comparable experience preferred
• Must be proficient in computer skills
• Be extremely detail-oriented
• An ability to multitask
• Be vaccinated
