Summary:

We're in search of an experienced Dev/Research Engineer who has worked with 1D simulation tools (GT Power is preferred) and 3D CFD simulation tools (STAR CD is preferred).

Here are some of the specific details:

Job Title: Dev/Research Engineer 3

Location: Lafayette, IN

Duration: 36 months contract

Status: Hybrid (2 to 3 days "in-office", other days’ work from Home)

MUST HAVE skills:

· Fundamental understanding of engine combustion and engine operation is required.

· Familiarity with 3D CFD simulation tools (STAR CD is desired)

· Familiarity with 1D simulation tools (GT Power is desired)

Education Requirements:

· Mechanical engineering (or similar) degree, and 5 to 7 years of engine related simulation experience. (Combustion in particular)

· Master’s or PHD desired.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $48.00 - $53.00 per hour
