Job Summary:

Our healthcare facility in Abingdon, VA is seeking to hire a Registered Nurse RN with Operating Room experience to join our team. The role will involve assisting with surgery preparation, performing surgical procedures, and providing patient care before, during, and after surgery. The candidate must be highly skilled, knowledgeable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures
• Assisting with the preparation of the surgical site and sterilization of equipment
• Maintaining a clean and safe operating room environment
• Monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and documenting medical history
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide effective patient care
• Assisting with post-surgery recovery and wound care

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Active RN license in the State of Virginia
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
