As a Regional Solutions Leader with Southern States Toyotalift:
You’ll contribute to making Southern States Material Handling a successful and respected material handling solution provider, by providing the best Customer Experience! You’ll lead our Jacksonville & Ocala Solutions Teams to all equipment, service, power, and financial solutions needed. Help the team attract, maintain, and grow our customer base in the Jacksonville and Ocala markets. Lead the group effort to differentiate from competitors by executing on our SSMH Solutions process and articulating a Value Solution.

What you Need/Basic Qualifications:
- Experienced veteran of material handling industry with working knowledge of current material handling industry trends and of material handling equipment maintenance.
- Specific background in narrow aisle/very narrow aisle applications, equipment, power, and turnkey solutions.
- Proficient working knowledge of current material handling industry trends including Electric, IC, Specialty, Systems, and Energy Solutions.
- Proven history of meeting and exceeding performance goals.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be willing to travel in Florida and Georgia market, as needed.
- Commitment to Excellence while interacting with internal and external customers.
- Ability to multi-task, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
Education and Certification Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, but combination of education and work experience in the Material Handling Industry will be considered.
- 5 years plus experience in material handling industry with specific background in narrow aisle equipment and systems.
What you’ll Do:
- Lead team to achieve a target combined market share in Class 1 -5
- Oversee creation and implementation of annual business plan for Jax/Ocala Solutions Team.
- Lead specific focus to attain target market share in Class 1 – 3, through market awareness, prospect account focus, product training, and other appropriate means.
- Study “Mastering the Complex Sale,” series and lead the group in executing on the 4-D process.
- Develop and execute strategies and tactics to achieve results.
- Lead the team effort to partner towards mutually beneficial and long-term Customer relationships and goals.
- Lead Solutions Team in identifying business opportunities at customer locations and train to make impactful suggestions to customers about SSMH’s products and services-with a focus on new equipment.
- Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the role and our Enterprise.
- Hire and train staff, as needed, relevant to product, professionalism, and electronic systems and processes.
- Promote and reinforce our Group credo that a Total Solution = Equipment Solution + Service Solution + Power Solution + Financial Solution.
- Assist team in developing creative and tailored client proposals by working to identify customer pain points to provide warehouse solutions.
- Train and lead solutions team to negotiate effectively, clearly communicate goals, interests, and positions during customer discussions.
- Promote turnkey Solutions involving all SSMH equipment, including New, Used, Specialty, Energy, and Systems.
- Train and lead team in creating various financing options / terms to help a customer confidently agree to payment for the new solutions purchased.
- Lead change, bring new, original, and creative ideas to our group and Enterprise.
- Focus on safety – work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Contribute positively to the SSMH culture of People Helping People
- Monday- Friday 7am-4pm
- Hybrid role
- Travel up to 1-2 days per week regionally.
