Regional Sales Representative

Remote – West Coast

Summary: Under the direction of the VP of Sales, Sales Representative is responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers and new clients. Duties include, but are not limited to, identifying new business prospects, following up on marketing driven sales leads, and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships
  • Identify prospective new customers
  • Have intimate knowledge about client’s full product line
  • Emphasize the product benefits and corporate value proposition
  • Be knowledgeable about competitors’ offerings
  • Promptly maintain CRM database of accounts and contacts within your territory
  • Actively promote brand awareness and engage customers through employee approved social media platforms.
  • Identify strategic agenda within client base
  • Attend/exhibit industry tradeshows as needed
  • Travel within territory for face-to-face meetings (up to 3 weeks per month)
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and operations departments

Qualifications:

  • Self-starter with a passion for “hunting”
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Creative, problem-solving skills
  • Lead generation and conversion skills
  • Consultative sales process experience required
  • CRM experience required; knowledge of salesforce preferred
  • Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs
  • Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, building relationships and network
  • Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale
  • Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customers
  • Physical endurance, as sales representatives may need to be on their feet for long hours and spend a lot of time traveling between locations.

  • The client provides a 401k plan managed by Merrill Lynch. The plan allows for you to contribute 1% to 25% of your weekly pay, with a 50% matching contribution by the client up to a max of 4% (8% contribution on your end). The plan includes the choice of (10) different investment funds

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
