Ritz Instrument Transformers, an industry leader in instrument transformers, cast-coil power transformers, and solid-insulated bus systems, has an opening on first shift for a Quality Technician reporting to the Quality Operations Manager.

Position responsibilities include:

SUMMARY

The Quality Technician is responsible for maintaining the company’s Quality Management System as well as ensuring that the company is compliant with the manual through the audit process. The Quality Technician will work with Customers and Suppliers as needed to alleviate quality issues. The Quality Technician has to demonstrate excellent understanding of office applications such as word processing and spreadsheet software to run calculations and make detailed reports.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure site audit readiness for Quality Management System compliance to satisfy ISO requirements

2. Prepare, revise, and maintain documentation required to support quality

3. Assure that procedures and work instructions are correct, efficient, and applicable

4. Partner with production and engineering in detecting root causes for defects during production phases

5. Responsible for site CCR/RMA process to include evaluation, processing, and corrective actions and disposition.

6. Responsible for site SNCR process to include evaluation, processing, and corrective actions and disposition.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Associate degree or equivalent work experience

2. Computer skills (MS Office)

3. Manufacturing experience

Successful candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We would prefer previous warehouse and receiving experience. Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and drive a forklift. Qualified candidates should submit their resume, cover letter and salary requirements.
