Quality Lab - Raw Material Testing Tech

Pacoima, CA

Full time – Temp to hire

Monday thru Friday – 7am to 3:30pm

$17hr to start

Busy manufacturer and formulator of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals is looking for a Quality Lab - Raw Material Testing Tech to join their team in Pacoima.

Summary: Seeking an individual to performs routine to difficult standardized physical and chemical tests on incoming raw materials. Testing incoming batches (viscosity, pH, specific gravity, TNE and micro) along with sending out customer samples.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality of manufactured goods.
• Inspect goods as they are finished.
• Examine materials from suppliers before sending them to production line.
• Inspect components, subassemblies, and assemblies.
• Perform quick visual inspections.
• Perform complex tests using instruments and equipment.
• Test, measure, and analyze products.
• Take samples for testing.
• Record pass/fail grade of products.

Requirements:

• Previous lab experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual – English and Spanish is desired.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Good math and technical skills.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.

$17hr to start.

Job Type: Full-time
