Summary of the Role

In this role, you will be reporting to the Quality Supervisor and will assist in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System. You will be responsible for creating and revising process work instructions, managing non-conforming material, supporting production with quality issues, leading production process audits and inspections, and supporting customer complaints through troubleshooting and root cause activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain standard work instructions for manufacturing processes
  • Work with purchasing, engineering, and production to drive product process improvements
  • Perform dimensional analysis to help identify potential quality issues
  • Provide guidance for the implementation of quality control systems
  • Help investigate and determine root causes and corrective actions for customer complaints
  • Conduct in-process and first article inspections per plan and schedule as necessary
  • Support incoming inspection program to ensure robust inspection processes
  • Conduct quality training for manufacturing personnel as needed
  • Identify and report product non-conformities and initiate resolutions
  • Assist in improving, maintaining, creating, implementing, and repairing standard testing or production equipment
  • Carry out other activities as directed by the Quality Supervisor and Senior Staff

Qualifications and Experience

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline (Engineering, Quality, General Studies, etc.)
  • Strong understanding and previous experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance
  • Willingness to be hands-on in product testing, fixture building, or equipment maintenance
  • Experience in an ISO manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to climb and work from a ladder
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail
