Position Overview:

The Quality Control Manager will manage the Quality Department resources to deliver the highest quality machined components.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead, direct and develop a team of Quality Control Technicians.

• Ensure the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, and ISO 9001 QMS requirements.

• Assist in the development and documentation of manufacturing and inspection, processes, procedures and control plans.

• Manage inspection gages, (qualify, calibrate, maintain, assemble for jobs, etc.)

• Provide inspection services, (incoming material, in process, subcontracted and final).

• Participate in new business quoting, design review, and quality planning meetings.

• Communicate directly with customers and suppliers as needed for Quality related matters.

• Assist in providing CNC Machinist training on proper use of inspection equipment, gages, etc..

• Advise on equipment upgrades and maintenance needs.

• Satisfy customer reporting requirements with regard to quality. (PPAP, FAI Documentation, records, etc.)

Qualifications/Education:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to complete each essential duty to a satisfactory standard. • GED or High school diploma

• Quality Control Inspection minimum 3 Years required

• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and/or 5S principles experience preferred

• ISO 9001 QMS - 3 years experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
