Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service Aide (PRSA) Responsibilities:

• As a PRSA you will participate in new residents’ orientation to the facility.
• You will communicate your observations to your supervisor.
• You will participate in the inspection and review of residents and their rooms.
• You will be responsible for group and individual psychosocial rehabilition.
• You will help foster a collaborative work environment.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service Aide (PRSA) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No history of abuse/neglect, or misappropriation of property.
• Demonstrated sensitivity, ability and skills in working with and understanding the needs of the residents, family members, staff members and personnel from community agencies.
• Demonstrated familiarity and knowledge of currents trends in the rehabilitation of the mentally ill.
