RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Mesa, AZ.

Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in providing world class support to our customers and clients by managing business and technology programs/projects and ensuring they are delivered in a timely manner. You are responsible for tracking the status of all programs/projects within your assigned business by working with different stakeholders, manage expectations of customers, provide status reports to management, document all issues and risks, and drive them to closure. You will create and manage project plans, communicate schedules with different stakeholders and ensure successful delivery of all projects. You will work in a highly collaborative environment with a team that is geographically distributed. The candidate should have excellent analytical and interpersonal abilities and always looking to improve process and bring in efficiencies. The Project Manager performs other duties as required.

Duties:
  • Responsible for all aspects of project management, analysis, project delivery validation, and other duties as required per project compliance and contract requirements
  • Lead large and sometimes global and/or virtual, internal, and external groups of multi-disciplinary teams of highly talented technical professionals through the execution of tasks
  • Develop and maintain project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, risks, contingency plans, and quality management
  • Proactively identify and plan for risks as well as implement approved actions and workarounds to mitigate risk events to minimize the impact to the project
  • Develop and manage working relationship(s) with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project intake, define requirements, coordinate priorities, and solve problems
  • Facilitation of discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution to keep the project team members focused, aligned and on track to meet project goals
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems Degree required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
  • Minimum 6 years of project management experience with state and or local governments
  • Experience in managing projects and schedules using Microsoft Project required
  • Experienced with Office products like Excel, PowerPoint to generate reports and dashboards required
  • Strong problem-resolution and analytical skills required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Flexible and adaptable regarding learning, task assignments, and learning new technologies required
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time for on location and in person project facilitation and workshops
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
