Position Overview

The responsibility of the Project Coordinator is to support the processing of complex and fast paced architectural projects. The PC works closely with the Project management team connecting with architects, engineers, and glazing / construction contractors as well as external vendors and internal engineering, operations, and sales resources to correctly deliver projects on-time and on-budget. The PC administers and supports all facets of a project’s scope of work, marrying the requirements and deliverables for final product. The environment is highly dynamic. The PC role demands a highly organized team player with strong problem solving and excellent communication skills.

Description of the work:

  • Understanding our customers’ requirements then setting a path to meet or exceed the customers’ expectations by managing the engineering, drafting and fabrication timelines.
  • Applying project management fundamentals to maintain the project schedule and budget.
  • Oversee project planning, schedule creation and attainment, component purchasing, technical documentation, and issue resolution.
  • Interaction with Architects, Designers, Glaziers, General Contractors, and in-house Operations to meet project objectives and deadlines effectively and profitably.
  • Project administration for estimating and project management specific to data entry, project submittals, Customer samples, financials, and fabrication approvals.
  • Organize and track key deliverables and purchasing for projects, vendors, and operations to align with project requirements.
  • Day to Day pricing and purchasing responsibilities for quick turn customer requests.
  • Field support and assembly support, from the office or at customer facility or jobsite, occasionally requiring travel out of state. The role requires a hands-on approach and “get it done” attitude.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree preferred. Preferably in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management or equivalent work experience
  • AutoCAD experience, preferred
  • Excellent analytical, Time management, organizational, problem solving and communication abilities.
  • Computer proficient (MS Office, Email etc.)
  • 3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
