ASE is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to lead our Command, Control, and Infrastructure Operations-2 (C2IO-2) program in support of the United States Army Intelligence Command (INSCOM), headquartered at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all aspects of program execution, including PWS fulfillment across multiple IT and non-IT disciplines, customer and employee relations, and financial and risk management
  • Initiates new short- or long-term projects in support of customer requirements
  • Achieves collaboration, efficiency, and interdependency across program components
  • Responsible for customer relationship management for existing and new or potential customers
  • Anticipates, identifies, and responds to all issues associated with contract execution and customer satisfaction in support of business operations
  • Develops strategies and work plan for accomplishing customer tasking and achieving stated corporate objectives
  • Manages multiple subcontracts supporting the program
  • Ensures safe working conditions and job practices of contractor workforce
  • Develops junior leaders for positions of increased responsibility within the C2IO-2 program and the Akima family of companies
  • Identifies opportunities for growth and supports business development efforts
  • Conducts staff meetings, briefings (including quarterly Program Management Reviews), and reporting concerning program activities, which provide Senior Management and others with information regarding program status
  • Responsible for specific program metrics including CPARS, CDRLs, DSO, employee turnover, gross margin, and accident prevention/reporting
  • Reconciles manual and system-generated reports to track funding, revenue, and costs
  • Assists in recruiting contract personnel needed as needed
  • Ensures effective contract management by applying service delivery management best practices (e.g. PMI, ITIL, etc.)
  • Actual travel is approximately 5%

Location:

Work is performed out of our Lorton, Virginia office, with moderate ability for telework that doesn't negatively impact one's ability to supervise, engage, and lead.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active DOD TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI eligibility (as captured in DISS).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, business, management (or similar field) with four years' related experience; or Master’s Degree in IT, business, management (or similar field) with two years' related experience; may be substituted with PMP.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5 - 10 years’ leadership experience in the federal sector (military, civilian, or contractor), preferably within intelligence or communications organizations
  • Experience leading organizations of 15 or more people
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, time-management, communications, and human-relations skills
  • Extensive experience providing administrative oversight, corporate management, and ability to provide overall technical, schedule, and cost direction
  • Demonstrated ability to meet objectives driven by firm deadlines
  • Exceptional mathematical reasoning and ability to implement in Microsoft Excel
  • Former military experience
