The Electronic Systems Program Excellence (Px) team sets the standard for Project Program and Portfolio Management at BAE Electronic Systems.
The responsibilities of this role will include leading the team of program planners across ES, ensuring major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including but not limited to finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality and be responsible for updating and preparing customer and stakeholder reports.. This individual will lead the program planning team in standardizing the process of monitoring program schedule performance, performing risk analysis, identifying and resolving critical path and network logic conflicts. Furthermore, this person will have program management execution experience with utilizing Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management in addition to other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Expertise in development of complex integrated master plans (IMPs) and integrated master schedules (IMS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Proficiency Microsoft Project and experience with Cobra
- Experience in change management roles, especially involving cultural change
- Experience supporting new business pursuits (captures/proposals)
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence diverse work teams
- Ability to mentor early through late career team members.
- Possess a thorough understanding of US DoD schedule policies and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements.
- Ability to develop solutions to complex problems using ingenuity & innovation
- Experience communicating and presenting business data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
- Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Experience with the conduct of Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA)
- Ability to challenge and improve knowledge of industry practices and standards, as well as company policies
- Secret Clearance with ability to achieve TS/SCI
- Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers
- Experience with leading cross functional program teams
