Amerilab Technologies is a growing and leading US manufacturer in the development, manufacturing, and packaging of effervescent tablets, and effervescent and non-effervescent powders in stick packs and sachets, and we are currently seeking skilled and experienced Production Planner to join our team.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

The Production Planner creates and maintains a master schedule for the plant by effectively balancing supply and demand and completing in-depth capacity and inventory analysis. The Production Planner prepares and issues production schedules in the ERP.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan and manage production schedules to ensure 98% on-time delivery of all customer orders.
• Produces production schedules for product lines, initiates work orders, and establishes priorities for specific customer orders.
• Convert customer demands to work orders of conventional sizes and quantities.
• Responsible for the analysis of sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
• Provides input to management, reschedules, and/or interfaces with sales, production, and quality to reschedule plans in case of labor/material storages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
• Contributes or leads projects related to production planning and various cross functional operations.
• Tracks categories including Production Locked Schedule attainment, On-Time delivery, Production Lead-Times, and communicates potential delivery issues to management.
• Ensures accurate and timely set up for manufacturing BOMs for all items.
• Tracks the accuracy of manufacturing routings and works closely with manufacturing on the optimization of all routing steps and standard operations.
• Monitors work order aging in the ERP system.
• Contributor to the implementation of all materials affected on Engineering Change Notices
• Monitors accuracy of plan assumptions daily and communicates required adjustments to the rest of the materials team.

• Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
• Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
• Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:

Education / Experience / Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience working in ERP Applications (MPS / MRP)
• Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Skills Required:

• Experience of the Microsoft Office suite of products, in particular Word and Excel (to an intermediate level).
• Good written and oral communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to act on own initiative, dealing with unexpected problems that arise.
• Initiative-taker with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and analysis (Preferred)
• Ability to influence change supported by data from our ERP system while working collaboratively and managing multiple projects in an independent work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate work consistent with business financials and customer forecast/demands.
