James Martin Vanities (JMV) is currently seeking to fill an immediate need for a Vanity Product Specialist. As a Product Specialist, you will provide technical product expertise to our outside sales and field partners for JMV products. If you have prior sales experience, outstanding communication skills, and love helping others solve problems, then this is an excellent opportunity to grow with an industry-leading organization.

This is a territory-based role and requires extensive travel. An auto-allowance, fuel card, and expense account are provided. The incumbent will need to reside in South Bend, IN

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the subject matter authority for bathroom vanity cabinets and mirrors and provide consultative product knowledge recommendations.
  • Create and maintain consultative sales relationships with new and existing clients, including providing product suggestions and expertise, conducting client and job-site visits, and collaborating with partners at all levels to promote JMV products
  • Develop and maintain relationships with outside sales, field technicians, and customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services at all times
  • Provide technical product knowledge and product training to customers and internal associates
  • Assist in developing sales training presentations based on the needs of the account
  • Establish and develop strong account and vendor relations
  • Align inventory management goals and maintenance of job performance against job expectations
  • Facilitate product, sales, and system training with sales associates.
  • Work with other branch personnel to ensure phenomenal customer service from the order to the delivery and beyond
  • Continually improve product knowledge in order to promote a professional image in the field
  • Provide a high level of customer service support with product expertise and advanced selling skills.
  • Inform management of product issues that arise from problems identified by customer service support. Possess and apply detailed product knowledge and thorough knowledge of the client's business.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of industry-related outside sales, inside sales, project management, project coordinator experience
  • Experience with case goods, strongly preferred
  • Experience reading specification sheets, or drawings, preferred
  • Strong proficiency with computer and software programs, including all Microsoft Applications
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with people at multiple levels of the organization
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and multitasking skills needed, including the ability to prioritize multiple, urgent requests
  • Proven time management and organizational skills
  • Detailed and able to maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Self-starter, creative problem solver, and self-sufficient

    Pay Range:

      $4,583.00 - $8,250.00

        Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

          This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
