Our Opportunity:
The “Productivity, Assessment and Logistics Enhancement Team” (PALET) is the central operations team for Fetch. PALET is a team of logistics professionals with excitement for development with the ultimate goal of improving fulfillment and delivery metrics, along with decreasing cost of Operations all while keeping to the Fetch core value of cultivating fans.
Fetch is looking for a Process Engineer to join PALET in designing and optimizing under the roof and over the road production tasks. This includes fulfillment, delivery, standard of work and warehouse flow for the entire network operations. This role will be responsible for the alignment of stakeholders in designing mechanisms, simplifying work and automating all material flow aspects from receiving, dispatching and delivery, in tandem with reporting the success of the metrics associated with the processes.
The Fetch Operations Team is the driving force of our strategy to bring apartment residents secure and convenient package delivery. As a leader responsible for network improvement, you will travel from site to site regularly to analyze, measure and record data and partner with PALET to implement necessary changes. Process Engineers are data driven analysts with a strong ability to create or improve processes that show positive impact to production and cost savings.
What you’ll deliver on the job:
- Collect and analyze data to monitor process performance and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and optimize resource allocation.
- Analyze existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in our operations.
- Design, develop, and implement new processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Partner with operations managers to mitigate risks by creating countermeasures for process compliance.
- Collaborate with PALET to establish quality control measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Partner with learning management to develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for all operational processes.
- Partner with learning management to train and support employees on new processes, procedures, and tools to ensure smooth implementation and adherence.
- Partner with technology teams to identify and implement technological solutions, such as automation or software tools, to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

- The will and drive to achieve, maintain and increase high standards.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Flexibility to travel 25% of the year.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics and supply chain.
- 3+ years of experience in a role optimizing production processes.
- Experience with programming languages (Ruby, Javascript).
- Highly proficient in data visualization platforms (Looker, Tableau, Sigma).
- Highly proficient in SQL, Google Scripts and data extraction.
- Lean and Six Sigma certified.
- Clear and concise with electronic and verbal communication.
- High-level of commitment towards prioritized decision making.
- Ability to thrive under pressure.
- Multi-tasking skills.
- Comfort within a fast-paced environment.
