What the day will look like:
- Placement of new and renewal P&C programs including drafting submissions
- Execute placements in short time frames and servicing those placements including their renewals
- Work with Due Diligence team to budget and place new business in very short time frames
- Analyze and review insurance programs for clients to determine optimum program including pricing, terms and conditions.
- Help with the development of new and innovative solutions for the Private Equity community
- Build and maintain positive relationships with the carriers that write both Middle Market and Upper Middle Market P&C business
- Mentor and help develop associate brokers on the team
- Work as a team member and collaborate with other colleagues within the Aon M&A and Transaction Solutions group
How this opportunity is different:
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- 2+ years of commercial insurance experience placing and servicing (underwriting or broking) P&C business
- Some M&A experience is a plus including Due Diligence projects
- Strong understanding of Middle Market P&C risks and carrier appetites
- Broad relationships with the carriers that write Middle Market P&C business
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of proven experience.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $85,000 - $100,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any[bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
