Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a Preschool Group Leader at Bear Creek Elementary School beginning in August of 2023. Must meet the requirements set by the Department of Human Services for Group Leader. Must have either a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, or special education, or have an associate's degree in early childhood education, or must have a combination of college coursework, to include ECE, and experience with children meeting the Colorado Department of Human Services definition of "Early Childhood Teacher." The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4 PM. The hourly rate is $18.44 to $20.14 depending on previous experience. The only benefits with this position is participating in Colorado PERA retirement. In order to receive consideration, please complete the online application as soon as possible. • Newly hired employees will recieve a $1,000 bonus ($500 to be paid after 90 days and $500 paid at the end of the school year).

Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Lewis-Palmer does provide one plan that is of no cost to the individual. However, employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans. All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Paid leave is accrued in accordance with District policies and afforded to all persons in accordance with Colorado law.
