RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Power BI Data Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona (AZ).

Summary:
This client is a growing and established Engineering Technology Company is seeking a Mid-Level Power BI Data Engineer. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. As a Data Engineer, you will create software solutions using Agile practices and DevOps principles. You are responsible for designing, programming, debugging, and supporting high quality, distributed, and large-scale software solutions on the latest technology platforms.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions that integrate legacy data, current ERP Data, and external data sources
• Implement, monitor, and maintain DevOps environment stability
• Promote DevOps practices which perform as an always-up, always-available service
• Collaborate with internal teams to define technical requirements and resolve technical design issues

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineer, or similar field or relevant work experience
• 2-4+ years of experience developing datasets and reports in Microsoft Power BI is required
• 2+ years of experience in deploying and utilizing ETL and Data Management Tools
• Experience with Report writing
• Demonstrated knowledge of standard concepts, best practices, and procedures within a data warehousing and business intelligence environment
• Experience coding with at least one scripting language such as Python and/or Java Script
• Strong experience with SQL (NoSQL experience is a plus)
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment is a plus but not required
• Experience with Snowflake, RedBricks, and/or Spark are plusses but not required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
