Powder Coater/Wet Painter Department Supervisor (FT)
Job description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Powder Coat and Paint Shop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of this department.
To ensure success as a Powder Coat and Paint Shop Supervisor, you should exhibit extensive knowledge and demonstrable experience in a similar role.
Shift: Monday thru Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Properly clean and maintain equipment.
- Ensure accurate coverage of all materials being powder coated.
- Placing items in the powder coat oven to be cured for appropriate time and temperature.
- Properly clean up the work area to meet company standards at the end of the shift.
- Check paint workmanship while painting and inform of errors.
- Possess knowledge of powder coating knowledge of at least 2 years.
- Possess an understanding and exercise extreme care during the operation of powder coating equipment.
- Inform and communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for continuous improvement of the process.
- Understanding the value that quality plays in the overall success of the company, helps in increasing the quality of our products for the appearance and safety of our customers.
- Ability to operate required tools within standard operations procedures.
- Must comply with the company’s safety policies and clean initiative standards.
