Searching for a Pool Monitor for the Summer for our Cypress Creek at River Oaks in Waxahachie, TX!


The Pool Monitor works in coordination with the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. This position is responsible for monitoring all activity in the pool area ensuring the safety of all residents and their approved guests by enforcing all pool policies and procedures. This position requires a strong service mentality, good verbal communication, great flexibility and ability to be a positive representative of the company when interacting with residents, staff team members, supervisors and guests. Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times. The Pool Monitor must have a keen sense of sight, hearing and focused attention with ability to keep eyes on the pool area at all times when scheduled and without being distracted. Residents and their guests swim at their own risk and NO lifeguard duties are assigned in this position.


Essential Functions

  • This person must be able to physically walk the pool area and property features in its entirety.

Work Environment

  • This position requires work outdoors in temperatures exceeding 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Job Requirements

  • This is a Seasonal position. Tuesday thru Sunday as scheduled by the Community Manager. Weekends are required.
  • Necessary overtime to provide after hour service may be required.
  • No specific level of education or experience is required for this position. A High School diploma or equivalent is a plus.
  • Must have the ability to read, understand, speak and write English.
  • It is necessary that the Pool Monitor be able to attend and participate in all company related training programs as required.
