Pool Cafe Cook Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated, organized cook who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast paced culinary environment. The cooks duties include preparation, sanitization and implementation of successful a la carte cooking for our Stingray Cafe located at our Pool area. Candidate should have thorough knowledge of culinary practices and the capability to implement them effectively.

To be successful as a Cook, you should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills. You should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.

Cook Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the work area is kept sanitized, clean and that all goods are labeled and kept on top of from being expired.
• Preparing work station with all appropriate mis en place needed to fulfill service for the day
• Knowledge of the clubs menu ingredients, recipes and procedures.
• Able to process sometimes large volumes of work in a quick, efficient and stress free manor.
• Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
• Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.

Cook Requirements:

• Minimal work experience.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds.
• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
