Local Unit & Position Description
DNV's Healthcare Division is seeking to fill the role of Planner/Scheduler. The primary function of the Planner/Scheduler is to plan activities ensuring business efficiency and effectiveness according to the rules. This position is based out of our DNV office in Katy, TX with a hybrid or flexible work arrangement.
Tasks May Include
- Perform scheduling/planning process in accordance with procedures, rules and regulations
- Communicate continually with client and auditor to confirm schedule
- Support and enable the qualifications and competence initiatives to increase the pool of resources qualified
- Act as a project manager, ensuring:
- Effectiveness and efficient management of scheduling of scheduling activities
- Maximise utilization of resources while ensuring lower operation costs
- Inputting all relevant data into CRM database
- Understand and have in consideration logistics/geographic implications when planning
- Prepare and provide measurement reports as required
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management
Position Qualifications
What is Required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or other relevant field and 3 years in Planning / Scheduling
- In lieu of degree a minimum of 5 years of in Planning / Scheduling
- Must be computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop
- Excellent teamwork skills; willingness to help others grow
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Physical requirements:
- Must be able to work at a desk or workstation, sitting or standing up to 95% of the time
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office, access file cabinets, conference rooms, etc.
- Must be able to use a computer, with, or without reasonable accommodations up to 95% of the time
- We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening
What is Preferred
- Experience within healthcare environment
- Experience using planning/scheduling software
