About Us:

Professional Pet Friends is a Knoxville native pet sitting company that serves pet owners throughout West Knoxville and surrounding areas. We aim to provide the highest quality of pet care in the comfort of our clients homes to their various furry, feathery, and even scaly friends.

Duties such as walking, playing, administering meds, feeding, cleaning, and quality time will be preformed in our varying shifts with animals of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. Being a pet sitter/dog walker does include some travel within the Knoxville area, so having a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license is required.

We take what we do seriously and ask all applicants to submit a resume through indeed, complete a pet sitter questionnaire, an in-person or zoom interview, and pass a background check prior to being hired.

Requirements:

- Valid drivers license
- Must be 18 or older

- 1+ year of animal care and/or animal handling experience in a professional setting (bonus points if you've worked as a groomer, vet tech, or are pursuing an animal science degree)

Required skill set:

- Acute attention to detail

- Organizational skills

- Purrrfect time management skills (ok, maybe not perfect, but being time conscious is ideal)

- Outstanding communication skills

Tools Required to Work:

- Reliable vehicle

- Smartphone w/GPS

Compensation:

Starting at 13-15$ per hour (based on experience). We also offer mileage reimbursement.

This is a part time position ONLY. Our hours do fluctuate depending on the time of year (holidays, long weekends, etc), so please keep this in mind when applying. We do not guarantee a set amount of hours each week, but can offer work/life balance and a flexible schedule.
