New Day Vending is a company that was started right here in Colorado Springs in 2011. We look to provide outstanding customer service by servicing the vending needs of local companies. New Day Vending prides itself on its family and Christian values, and is looking for a reliable, honest, and friendly vending attendant. If you don't like interacting with people, this is not the job for you.

Job Overview: This is a part time job that should average 5-7 hours per week depending on business need. A dependable vehicle is required! As a vending attendant, you are our eyes and ears in the field. This is a very flexible position that allows you to create your own hours within the business hours of our customers. However, you are not required to work on Sundays.

Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that 1 machine in Woodland Park and 1 machine in Pueblo are being filled regularly and accurately. This specific vending route can be picked and delivered to both customers in 1 day (5.5 hours) or over 2 days (6.5 hours). That's up to you. You will be picking the product orders from a location in the Cimarron Hills area. Twice a month, you will also be collecting cash from the two vending machines and returning it to the warehouse. Because of this, your personal honesty and integrity must be at a very high level. This position also pays weekly via Venmo or check.

As an independent contractor, you will receive a 1099-MISC for tax purposes. This is a critical position to our business, and we are looking for someone interested in a flexible, long-term opportunity with the possibility for growth in the future.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Pick product needed for vending (Training provided)
• Drive a vending route 1 day or 2 days a week to deliver product.
• Timely and accurately fill vending machines.
• Provide thorough and friendly customer service in field.
• Conduct basic operations and troubleshooting of machines. (Training provided)
• Report any issues needing attention to upper management.

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong history of customer service.
• Good driving record.
• Appropriate size vehicle with good reliability (required).
• Good communication skills and time management.
• Reliable, friendly, honest.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Independent and self-motivated.

Compensation

• $19.23/hr. to $22.73/hr.
• Training at a rate of $12.00/hour, to be paid upon completion and should not exceed 3 weeks.
• Mileage cost calculated in hourly rate

Pay: $19.23 - $22.73 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
We may require all personnel to wear masks and gloves in the field (these are provided). Vendors are expected to clean machines before and after vending and to use hand sanitizer. We also request that our contractor practices social distancing.
