OAR Management, Inc. is seeking a part-time Accounting Clerk to join its Palos Heights, IL Family Office 15 to 20 hours per week. OAR provides personal, partnership, and corporate accounting for a dynamic, entrepreneur-focused, but established high-net-worth international family. This position allows a unique combination of interesting work in a small, friendly, team-oriented office that values work/life balance.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years bookkeeping experience required, more experience appreciated
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, QuickBooks and comfortable with technology
- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and propose resolutions
- Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and respond quickly to changing priorities
- Demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, professionalism, positive attitude and enthusiasm in the performance of duties
- Work within an environment requiring a high level of confidentiality and privacy
- Excellent interpersonal skills and successful experience working as part of a team
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Data entry and categorization of expense transactions in QuickBooks
- Organize and digitally upload documents
- Assist with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Perform various bookkeeping and administrative duties
- Support accounting team by performing other duties and special assignments as required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
