The Barista Opportunity:

Come join the Coopers Uptown team as a Barista! As a part-time Barista at Cooper’s Uptown, you will be one of the faces of our coffee bar! You must love connecting with customers and crafting quality espresso, coffee, and other beverages. You will be in a fast-paced, energetic retail and café environment where our main goal is to “craft comfort” for our guests.

Barista Requirements:

• Ability to enthusiastically create a great customer service experience for each guest
• Takes pride in the quality of work
• Knowledge of operation and ability to maintain functionality of an espresso machine
• Expertise in basic espresso and coffee beverage preparation
• Ability to keep shelves and bakery cases stocked and ready for customer purchase
• Comfortable learning and using a point of sale system including cash handling and providing change
• Willingness to assist in other areas of café when needed
• Able to stand on your feet for 6+ hours and to lift to 25 lbs.
• Ability to clearly communicate needs and concerns with management and team members
