Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

· Stack specified configuration of trays or boxes on pallet and move pallet to the pallet wrapper.

· Supply line with packaging corrugated box materials.

· Provide training to end-of-line palletizer associates as needed.

· Provide feedback to machine operator.

· Operate a single hinge punch press in a safe and efficient manner.

· Understand the department operating procedures.

· Perform material handling functions as assigned.

· Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

· Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· High school diploma/general education degree (GED) preferred or minimum 6-months or more manual palletizing experience

· Ability to use powered walkie material handling equipment

· Previous machine operation experience preferred

· Ability to carry out instructions

· Demonstrate a willingness to cooperate in a team environment

· Must have ability to lift up to 50 lbs

· Must be able to work 1st shift hours 6 am - 2:30 pm and over time when scheduled

The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing area that under certain conditions require the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with side shields and gloves. Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures. Industrial lighting provided.

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
