The P.E. teacher is responsible for planning and implementing P.E. classes, monitoring students at recess/lunch, evaluating student outcomes, maintaining student records, promoting good sportsmanship, organizing our after school sports program by providing coaches for the principal’s consideration who meet the requirements of CYO certification. There is a potential for additional income if you are interested in coaching after school sports. Our athletic program emphasizes sports-related skills, movement, games, and fitness activities. The P.E. teacher is responsible for communicating with parents about upcoming practices and games. The P.E. teacher also helps to plan and organize our annual school-wide Sports Day. Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
