Job Summary

Glendora Hospital PHP is looking for an Outpatient Registered Nurse for our expanding PHP Program. It is highly preferred you are a graduate of a school of nursing with degree/diploma in Nursing. The Outpatient Registered Nurse must have a minimum of one-year clinical experience in psychiatric nursing in an outpatient setting. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to PHP clients. This is an opportunity for an Outpatient Registered Nurse to be part of a growing Outpatient PHP Program.

Job Duties

• Current California RN license and AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Card.
• Provide professional and technical skills and services.
• Provide nursing care and customer services.
• Provide safety, comfort, protection, and education to a population that includes young adult to elderly patients.
• Previous knowledge and experience of Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing preferred.
• Provide and direct patient care.
• Be able to process admittions timely
• Interview, collect, and analyze data from patients.
• Ability to document and carry out physician orders.
• Ability to identify patient changes in condition and notify the psychiatrist.
• Perform basic nursing duties and procedures (vital signs, medication orders, injections).
• Monitor and provide safety within the milieu.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CHLB/Glendora Hospital roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CHLB/Glendora Hospital in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

Pay: $38.36 - $50.83 per hour
