Jerry Pittman and Associates is seeking an Oracle Applications Developer. The position can be in Pascagoula, MS in addition to Louisiana areas: Metairie, Amelia, Houma, Harvey, LA.

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION, IT IS ON SITE.

The pay range starts at 130K

Responsibilities of the position include the following:

· Responsible for software integration, external interface development and technical documentation

· Gathering and analyzing business/system requirements

• Develops conversion and system implementation plans
• Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation
• Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards
• Coordinates system upgrade activity
• Trains user personnel in the conversion and implementation of the system
• The position will have general support responsibilities specific to the supported applications
• Support will require troubleshooting and problem resolution related to user and connectivity issues
• Responds to emergencies as needed
• Work with the business functional areas to research and identify the best technical solution to support the most efficient business process
• Documenting technical specifications/requirements
• Adhere to development standards, processes, guidelines and procedures including Oracle A.I.M. Methodology
• Produce unit test scripts and support all testing activities
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work with team members and members of other functional teams to coordinate and meet deliverables
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision

Requirements:

· 3 years of Oracle EBS functional development experience

· PL/SQL development involving Oracle EBS modules such as Time/Labor, Human Resources, Financials etc. including knowledge of the underlying data model as well as basic process and data flow

· Hands on experience in development using best practices and standards on Oracle technologies

· A proven track record developing and documenting systems requirements, and designing, prototyping and testing under multiple deadlines

· Must have experience interfacing with functional end-users in developing required programs

· Skilled at technical problem solving and software change management

· R12, Toad experience a plus

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
