Khurana Family Eye Care is a newly established private practice located within a Costco. Our clinic sees patients every twenty minutes. We have an experienced optometric optician who works up patients for the doctor. Current equipment includes an auto-refractor, NCT, digital lensometer, and Daytona Optos.

We are looking for a talented OD to join our growing practice! You will utilize your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. The ideal OD candidate is one who is willing to learn and develop their clinical skillset. Regular duties will include:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Diagnose & assist in the treatment of ocular disease
• Prescribe corrective lenses
• Promote healthy vision through counseling & educating patients
• Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, & progress
• Handle eyecare emergencies

Job Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
• Valid IL license to practice optometry
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• A strong sense of workplace professionalism & personal ethics
• Familiarity with EMR for patient documentation

This is an excellent opportunity for an O.D. interested in supplementing their income or looking to add part-time hours to their schedule. We are looking for every other Friday (10am-7pm), Saturdays (9:30am-4pm). Ready for immediate hire.
