EPMO Operations (Project) Coordinator

The Opportunity:

Strong Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) services and operations are key

to supporting our organization’s goals, stakeholders, program, and project managers. Standardization

across our delivery process, tools, platforms, templates, including our critical EPMO operations will unlock

opportunities for shared best practices, shared support, and streamlined operations.

Position Summary & Summary of Responsibilities:

This Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the EPMO operations and designated program

teams. This role supports critical and supporting EPMO operations, such as the demand in-take process,

supporting EPMO tools, weekly/bi-weekly reporting, and onboarding new EPMO team members. Helps

prepare executive status reports and presentations. When needed, you will support EPMO team members

and managers on their respective workstreams' financial, planning, and reporting activities. As a critical

member of the EPMO, you will be responsible for evangelizing our company's project delivery processes and

tools. Assists in information collection and validations as needed by the EPMO Leader. Facilitates

collaborative documents and manages the overall EPMO project team site.

Skill Set Requirements:

 Minimum five years of Project Coordinator / EPMO Operations experience, including onboarding team members.

 Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

 Must have strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word, and Visio.

 Ability to develop effective reporting for various leadership levels (program to executive).

 Project Management Platform support experience: MS Project, Smartsheet, Planview, etc.

 Financial and Operational Reporting. Must be proficient with data and financials.

 Ability to balance multiple competing priorities.

 Strong collaboration within a team setting.

 Able to meet strict deadlines and KPIs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

 Daily operational management of our PPM tools, workflows, and templates. Serve as point of

contact for EPMO process and tool questions.

 Onboard new EPMO team members and manages EPMO team roster/org chart.

 Support and Facilitate EPMO Weekly Operational Meetings.

 Serve as a point of contact for questions related to EPMO services, processes, and tools.

 Assists in information collection and validations and facilitates collaborative documents.

 Prepare Executive status reports and presentations.

 When needed, supports program/project manager with scheduling, documentation, budgeting,

and communications.

 Budget Controls - Assists with management of portfolio financials, including planning,

budgeting, forecasting, variance tracking, and calculating earned value metrics. Establish and

conduct operational reporting for management.

Experience You Will Bring:

 Excellent written and oral communication skills.

 Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

 Strong analytical skills and aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making

 Effective communication for various stakeholder levels (project team, IT leaders, and business

stakeholders).

 Serve as a Project Coordinator for large, complex organizations.

 5+ Years of experience working in an IT environment independently and in teams (including

remote and global delivery models).

 Experience with continuous process improvement.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $92,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
