Job Description

Provide day-to-day office support for the daily operations of the Academic Programs Office in the School of Natural Resources. Greeting students, families and employees to the office and answering/routing phone calls and emails as necessary to appropriate faculty/staff. Schedule meetings and appointments for the Associate Director and Advising Staff. Coordinate course scheduling and classroom usage with faculty, staff, SNR student organizations and other campus offices. Coordinate course evaluations, approval of curriculum changes, student form routing, and management of student e-files. Manage various student communications. Posting and monitoring within various social media outlets. Facilitate various office efforts to connect students with career resources and potential employers. Assist with student, faculty, staff, SNR Alumni and Student Council meeting and events. Serve as back-up Building Coordinator.

Salary

Salary commensurate with education and experience.

Salary Range: $14.09 - $19.34

Shift

8-5 pm Monday – Friday, other days and times as needed for events

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel in particular) and Adobe. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Experience with MU student software (myZou, MU Connect, My Degree Planner, Canvas, and Qualtrics). Needed traits include: organizational and time management skills, personable, positive energy, flexibility, teamwork focus, and attention to detail.
