The Office Manager is responsible for managing the San Diego office building. The Office Manager must demonstrate the ability to develop resources that create timely and efficient workflow. Critical for success is the ability to embody the corporate culture in all interactions and demonstrate professionalism and excellence in customer service. As an Office Manager, you will maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Carry-out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; providing feedback; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Manage the creation and submitting of invoices. Analyze and organize office operations and procedures. Formulate procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records. Plan office layout, and initiate cost reduction programs. Establish uniform correspondence procedures and style practices. Review paperwork to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Prepare reports for guidance of management. Manage outside vendors, ensuring cleaning, extermination, and other services rendered.
The anticipated salary range is: $71,000 to $92,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

What it takes?
- Associate’s Degree, or 3-5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in QuickBase a plus
- Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
