The Occupancy Specialist utilizes the housing management system to manage contracts, leases, and occupancy processes for all university-owned and university-operated property. Position Function
This person is a front-line professional who communicates regularly with students, families, and campus partners and must exhibit tremendous customer service experience at all times. They will utilize the housing management system to manage housing contracts, leases, and occupancy processes and procedures for all university-owned and university-operated property. This role will be subject matter experts on housing management system processes, data collection, and report writing.
Minimum Education
Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution in office administration, secretarial science, or related field or equivalent.
Minimum Experience
1-3 years administrative support experience. Advanced experience with Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Power Point..
Minimum Other
Ability to apply unique situations to existing systems and structures.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
Preferred Experience
Experience with StarRez or other housing management software and/or Banner. Experience using/managing databases.
