Full-Time Nursing Faculty - Indianapolis

Our Fortis College campus in Indianapolis is currently seeking candidates to join our Nursing Faculty and become an integral part of training the next generation of Nurses. About the Position:

Work effectively as part of the overall faculty team demonstrating positive relations and collaboration. Participates in program evaluations activities. Maintains academic standards and course expectations. Provide feedback to students and communicates with Dean. Utilizes course material effectively and demonstrates thorough knowledge of content. Utilizes multiple teaching methods and techniques. Provides clinical instruction in the following areas:

• Pediatric
• Obstetrics/Mother-Child
• Med-Surge
• Clinical Coordinator

Requirements:

• At least 3 years in practice as a registered nurse.
• Bachelor degree in nursing required to teach in the Practical Nursing program
• Master degree in nursing required to teach in the Associate Degree Program.
• A current active unencumbered license in IN.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Functinal abilities to carry out classroom, clinical and laboratory teaching responsibilities.

Pay: This is a full-time salaried position, $70-80K/yr

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
