POSITION SUMMARY

The Night Auditor is responsible for executing the night audit reports as well as maintaining the check-in and checkout procedures during the overnight hours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Monitor the phone systems (alarms, transfers, questions, wake up calls)
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and according to the Front Desk guidelines.
  • Run night audit reports
  • Count Cash drawers
  • Fill brochure racks
  • Assist front desk associate with other front office duties
  • Maintain cleanliness of office
  • Execute special projects when assigned
  • Professionally and efficiently handle high maintenance guests without a supervisor or manager present
  • Follow communication protocol regarding any issues from the night to the day staff and/or supervisors/manager.
  • Maintain and update Front Desk training manual as needed.
  • Complete safety trainings every month
  • Attend Front Desk Lodging Meetings (meetings will be during the day when scheduled)
  • Follow established emergency procedures

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • High school diploma or GED
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi task
  • Ability to delegate tasks
  • Flexible work schedule which may include early mornings, weekends, holidays
  • Team Player

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Office Environment:
  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
  • Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
