cFocus Software is seeking a Network Engineer to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD). Positions will be located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Cape Canaveral, FL; Bayview, ID; Bangor, WA; Little Creek, VA; Chesapeake, VA; Washington, DC; Titusville, FL; Bremerton, WA; Silverdale, WA; Andros Island, Bahamas; Petersburg, VA; San Diego, CA; Memphis, TN; Ketchikan, AK

Position Requirements:

• Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting routers, switches and firewalls
• Experience with vendor network hardware solutions (i.e. Cisco, HP, Foundry)
• Hands on experience with OSPF, Static Routes, VLANs, L3 VLAN interfaces, ACLs, Multicast, PIM Dense and PIM Sparse, QoS fundamentals and application
• Knowledge of Linux networking
• Strong comfort level with command line interface (not GUI interfaces)
• Knowledge of Network Security (RADIUS, TACACS+)
• Active Secret Clearance

Desired Experience:

• Experience with Cisco switches and any Cisco certifications
• Experience with network management tools including Wireshark, Fluke Test equipment
• Experience with packet generation utilities such as Blaster/Blastee, iperf
• Familiarity with Imaging, Sonar and other submarine SubSystems
• Experience configuring DNS and NTP
• Linux Scripting
• Java Programming
• Self-motivated, engaged, continuously learning and looking for ways to improve things
