Fresh Mark, based in Northeast Ohio, is looking for a National Account Manager to drive flagship brand Sugardale at key regional Grocery Accounts. As a part of our Retail sales team, you will be the key lead, accountable for continuing to grow the presence of our Sugardale brand as we expand in important retailers. You must be an aggressive, disciplined leader who enjoys an entrepreneurial environment where career success is driven by results.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing Corporate and retailer-based sales strategies to drive penetration and growth at retail customers.
• Identify customer needs and providing product solutions to drive category growth.
• Generate, maintain and grow sales for the attainment of volume and margin objectives.
• Analyze distribution, shelf presence, base and promotional pricing and merchandising plans to drive category growth at key accounts.
• Apply category management principles to identify opportunities to increase distribution and grow share versus competition.
• Identify prospective customers and create an action plan to deliver incremental business.
• Work with Marketing to develop effective presentations for sales targets.
• Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment.
• Manage brokers and other 3rd party business support entities to ensure optimal ROI.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in outside sales
• Experience working with Regional Grocers on a direct basis and through distributors.
• Reside in the Upper Midwest (OH, PA, MI, IN, WI)
• Willingness to travel
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in technology, ability to learn new programs.
