We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a N4L Program Administrator to work out of the Pentagon in Washington, DC. The Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (DCNO) for Navy Logistics Planning and Innovation (OPNAV N4) plans, defines, and provides logistics and readiness support needs to support the readiness of the operating forces and shore establishment. OPNAV N4L is the Logistics Division. The candidate will support the N4L Division Director and Deputy Division Director and will proactively interact with the Branch Heads in support of division goals. The candidate will be expected to maintain a high customer service focus with attention to detail, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
Essential Duties:
- Plan, and call internal meetings on behalf of Division Director and Deputy Director in support of division goals.
- Engage support staffs from OPNAV, Fleets, NAVSUP, MSC, SECNAV, Joint Staff, OSD, DLA, USTRANSCOM and others as necessary to coordinate interactions with the Division Director and Deputy Division Director.
- Proactively interact with N4L Branch Heads and their staffs to obtain information required by N4L Front Office.
- Maintain and manage tasker responsibilities and deadlines including notifying responsible parties of duties and assignments, ensuring the tasker is completed with the expected level of quality and on time.
- Schedule meetings on the behalf of Division Director and Deputy Division Director on daily basis.
- Assist Division Director and Deputy Division Director with work related travel arrangements.
- Assist with military and civilian personnel actions.
- Assist with the proper distribution of unclassified and classified documents.
- Maintain file and data systems daily.
- Answer and direct phone calls appropriately.
- Process correspondence related to job duties and on behalf of Division Director and Deputy Division Director.
- Serve as N4L liaison to the N4 Secretariat for all Records Management initiatives.
- On-site support required.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in related field
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field from an accredited university
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong written, verbal communication skills; attention to detail; ability to work independently, and ability to multi-task.
- Direct client support experience, on-site necessary.
- Navy organizational experience.
- Administrative experience.
- Small team management experience.
- Experience with Fitness Reports (FITREPS).
- Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS).
- Experience with DONTRACKER, TV5, or comparable task management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
