Be one of the first to work at Downtown Omaha's newest lounge! The Fat Putter Mini Golf Lounge is hiring for ALL positions and is estimated to open at the end of May 2023. This Capitol District lounge is located off Dodge St. and just 0.4 miles to the Old Market, located at 111 North 10th Street Omaha, NE 68102.

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced bartenders to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. The Bartender is responsible for greeting customers while running the bar and upholding service and quality standards. Mixologist will also upsell items, create classic and innovative drinks all while providing a unique and pleasant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Create new feature drink names and develop new cocktail recipes
• Informing customers about new beverages, specials, and upselling
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Perform correct money transactions adhering to proper cash handling procedures
• Work in a team environment and communicate with other employees and guests
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Maintain a clean work and dining area
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements

• Bartending experience (1 year required)
• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Eye for detail and knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving techniques
• Strong task and time management abilities
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Observant with strong people skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
