Now hiring a MIG Welders for a manufacturing company in Lorain.

Weekly pay starting at $17 per hour, depending on experience.

The MIG Welder is responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling metal projects. They will accomplish this by closely measuring and inspecting the final product for defects. The MIG Welder will clamp parts in place and perform manual MIG welding with a .035 bare wire.

The MIG Welder will also be responsible inspecting the final product to ensure that it matches customer specifications. They will accomplish this by using calipers, micrometers, and tape measurers. Other duties include general housekeeping of workstations and any other task requested by a supervisor.

This position involves taking accurate measurements. The ideal candidate has knowledge of basic math, is able to read a tape measurer, and has a great attention to detail.

Previous Welding experience is required and applicants must pass a welding test.
Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, and tape measurers is required.

Previous experience with MIG Welding is preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of blueprints is a plus, but not required.

These are temp-to-hire positions.
