Position Description
The position may include math, electives, or PE courses. The ideal candidate will exhibit a love for kids, strong organization and management skills, flexibility, creativity, high energy, collegiality and an ability to work well with students and parents. The classroom teacher is responsible for the instruction and supervision of students. The use of a variety of methods and materials to implement instructional plans is required. All teachers are responsible for student behavior management and school safety. Qualified applicants must have a knowledge, training and/or experience with integrated curriculums, creating assessments and analyzing student data, collaboration and teaming skills, cooperative learning and appropriate successful experience.
Essential Qualifications
Successful applicants must comply with the OHA rule on the COVID-19 vaccine mandate by either being fully vaccinated or have an accepted religious or medical exception by the South Lane School District. The candidate must sign a safety expectation form if granted a medical or religious exception.
