Job Description:
Fusion Connect is hiring a Microsoft Alliance Manager to be a recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including marketing and business programs, computing solutions and user experiences, and user cloud services.
They will contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas and must be able to generate highly innovative business and/or user solutions. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to other employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

- Support initiatives spanning growth strategy and operational excellence
- Research, analyze and recommend courses of action that directly contribute to tangible outcomes
- Influence, negotiate and manage marketing and business program agreements between Fusion Connect and Microsoft for win-win outcomes
- Analyze industry trends, competitive threats, expansion opportunities and internal performance
- Work effectively in a team environment, both within the Personal Systems Strategic Alliances team and with business unit partners and stakeholders as well as external Alliance Partners including Microsoft
- Work collaboratively across various internal organizations to support joint Fusion Connect-Microsoft initiatives
- Establish internal and external network to promote, gain buy- in and expand partner program within and across Microsoft.
- Strategize partner network and integrate partner into strategic Microsoft initiatives to drive market and platform direction.
Education And Experience Required
- BA or BS in Marketing or related field.
- 5+ years business development, sales or marketing experience
- Partner, sales, industry, channel experience or equivalent.
- Must have hands on experience working with Microsoft as a business partner
Knowledge And Skills
Knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools and developing value proposition with partners.- Knowledge across marketing mix and vehicles for program execution with strategic partners.
- In-depth experience in Microsoft Teams, Voice and Operator Connect product/service/solution offering within industry and segments.
- Ability to interface effectively with executive management across different business functions.
- Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams.
- Excellent negotiating, influencing, consensus- building and conflict- resolution skills.
- Critical thinker
- Ability to handle ambiguity and unstructured work situations
- Demonstrated ability to shape and influence ideas and actions of others
- Able to span near-term product initiatives and long-term strategic planning across the Fusion Connect Portfolio of Microsoft Teams, Voice and Operator Connect.
