What You'll Do
We are hiring Mental Health Technicians for our Adult Inpatient Unit in Goshen. The hourly rate is based on documented prior experience and starts at $15.93 per hour, plus shift differential. 3rd shift and weekend positions available.

Duties:
  • Provide technical psychiatric services which are directed toward the following:
    • Assistance in maintaining daily routines for adult clients
    • Providing skills and support to enable clients to regain coping abilities and prevent further disability
    • Creating a therapeutic milieu to facilitate healing
As a vital part of the client’s treatment, the mental health worker will interact with a variety of professionals. The mental health worker will work with nursing staff, or lead to receive assignments and report pertinent data. The mental health worker works with the treatment team to implement treatment plan interventions. The mental health worker may have contact with families, significant others, and other social service representatives.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 20 years of age
  • Experience with targeted population preferred.
