Southshore Cardiovascular Associates is hiring for a float Medical Assistant position between the Brandon and Tampa office.
The Ideal Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting as a Medical Assistant.
- Prior experience with front office functions
Responsibilities:
- Assists the providers with preparing patients and the examination rooms, taking initial medical history for the chart, taking vital signs, and explaining the process to the patients
- Completes chart prep for clinic visits in a timely manner
- Keeps medical records in accordance with procedures and forms
- Follows HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality and follows principles of medical ethics for medical assistant
- Keeps rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies
- Assists patients any time need is apparent or as directed by supervisory staff
- Performs other admin related duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
